Conversion of a hotel room into a private apartment, with the primary aims to increase storage, emphasise the views and maximise the daylight. To respond to these requirements the new design removed all pelmets and bulky curtains, worked storage into functioning elements within the apartment such as the bed headboard and the window seat, along with a lighter and brighter colour palette. The window seat became an essential part of the scheme providing a large section of new storage, a secondary bed for visitors and a window seat for taking in the views.

The design and detailing took into consideration that all construction was to be done of the 14th floor due to limited access and service lift space.
